Project year: 2018

The Mantua Human Design research project focuses on three themes: the city of Mantua, the people who inhabit it, and design; three strongly related areas on which attention was focused in a connected way. “Mantua” is the city scenario to question and confront for urban design. “Human” in the sense of a common denominator that identifies us as human beings, without other categorizations and distinctions. Finally, “Design” because design is the dimension in which past, present and future are intimately connected. Mantua Human Design is a project capable of disseminating ideas and projects that promote the development of human-scale cities with attention to the themes of identity, inclusion and participation, with attention to fragility.
