The Teatro di Sabbioneta, a work commissioned by the Duke Vespasiano Gonzaga to the famous architect Vincenzo Scamozzi, is a precious example of the late Italian Renaissance. The research carried out in synergy between historians and surveyors has shown how an accurate 3D and photogrammetric survey of a complex architecture can support historical analyzes and reconstructive theses. From this collaboration, in fact, unpublished readings on the ideational and realization process of the work resulted, thanks to in-depth research and a complete and exhaustive geometric representation of the architecture, up to that time (2011) not present.
