Daniele Treccani, a PhD candidate of Politecnico di Milano and collaborator of Mantovalab, spent a research stay of two months at in Vigo, Galizia, Spain. He went in the last months of 2021, and he collaborated with the GeoTech group at the University of Vigo, with Prof. Lucia Diaz Vilarino. During his stay, he faced the pandemic prevention measured of Spain, but he also managed to complete his research work on processing of point clouds, exploiting Artificial Intelligence techniques, such as Machine Learning and Deep Learning. On his last day he also held a presentation to his Spanish colleagues where he explained the beauty of Mantova Campus, and the further research exchange opportunities between the two research groups.
