The research looks at places of knowledge within the local area as catalysts of identity and skills—spaces capable of breathing new life into former workplaces that once held deep historical, cultural, and economic significance for cities and communities. In Crema, the former Olivetti building stands as a striking example. Despite undergoing multiple changes in use over the years, it has consistently retained its ability to spark connections and generate activity across the territory. It is within this context that the project “Rigenerando Crema 3C: Connection, Knowledge, Community”, developed in collaboration with the Municipality of Crema, takes shape. The initiative proposes an approach aimed at enhancing urban regeneration initiatives across the entire area, triggering a sustainable urban transformation focused on building a renewed urban identity.
