An analysis of the Mantuan territory in the Mincio Valley reveals a complex and rich biodiversity situation identifiable in the Stable Meadows agricultural landscape. The project, included in the Integrated Area Plan of the Lombardy Region (PSR ’14-’20), proposes a territory reading that investigates the value of “permanence” in the contemporary landscape. These ancient landscapes, connected to the social, agricultural and livestock practices of the area, are configured as testimonies of a historical-cultural heritage to be preserved. To achieve this path of enhancement, a multidisciplinary vision and a broad scope of investigation was defined, functional to contain the relationships that describe the integration between physical environmental and human components.
